Jay Omaira is a Swiss-based musical theatre performer, actor and writer currently working across stage, screen and voice-over projects. He works in various accents in English, as well as Swiss or Standard German. His most recent work includes Chicago as Amos (Theater Pavillon, Luzern) and Gods’ Dawn (Luzerner Theater)

Alongside freelance performance work, he is developing The King’s Gaff, an original musical set in London’s East End, exploring faith, addiction, queerness and community.

His work blends humour, vulnerability and spiritual themes with gritty contemporary realism.
